Covid Safe Checkin:
Our Recreation 4WD Course – Short is ideal for people who are after a quick course to learn the essentials of how to drive a 4WD. You will learn about the features of your 4WD, such as high and low range gears and when to use them. You will also learn the limitations of your vehicle: what it can and can’t do. You will learn to identify hazards and how to minimize risks to the safety of your passengers and your 4WD, as well as how to minimise damage to the environment.
You will learn the appropriate driving techniques to use in different types of terrain.
The Recreational 4WD Course – Short will only briefly cover recovery techniques. To learn more about recovery techniques such as snatch strap, sand mats, airbags, and winching you will need to do the Recreational 4WD Course – Extended.
